[dropcap]R[/dropcap]ecorded in 1986, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Garth was (as the story goes) raising support for his trip to Nashville. To help raise money, he recorded a collection of mostly cover tunes (2 were originals) and sold them. There are several copies of this collection circulating- some have 18 songs, some have 23 songs with the last 5 songs having really bad audio. There are even collections with 24 or 25 songs
10. People Loving People 3:39 – [pullquote-left]”Everyone’s heard this one.”[/pullquote-left]Everyone’s heard this one. Hearing it in the context of the whole album though, it’s still unique. This album is so diverse. It has like 5-6 songs that are unlike anything Garth has done before, but he still completely makes it pure Garth. This is one of those songs. Would love to hear a strait country version of it with fiddles and steels.
